[Cromwell, CT] Automatic TLC, a division of HOP Energy, recently received a no-heat call from an 80-year old customer in Newington named Patricia Mowell.  The service call that followed discovered that the heating system could not be repaired but needed to be replaced.

Patricia is caring for two grandchildren, one of whom is being deployed to Iraq within the month and she could not afford a new heating system.  Automatic TLC's Equipment Specialist Hank Mailhot and Service Manager Reggie Dubie got together and contacted several equipment suppliers - Ark Rebuilding, F.W. Webb, Vaughn, & Boyertown Furnace Company and succeeded in getting the needed equipment donated.  Reggie held a meeting with the install crew at TLC and told them this customer's situation. The company's installers agreed to give up their Saturday to install Patricia's heating equipment voluntarily.

When Hank Mailhot called her to give her the news she was just getting home from church and told him she was praying for how she was going to be able to get this
heating system replaced. She was speechless when Hank gave her the great news, in fact she called him back that night at 8:30pm to ask him if she was dreaming.

This is but one story of many of our local industry's people helping another person who needed the help.
