The Plumbing License Review Seminar is a comprehensive review presented each month for technicians who will be undergoing their plumbing license exam. The related code books will be covered in detail. The reviews are two day classes and are offered once each month and cover the P1 & P2 licenses. The seminars are held on Monday and Tuesday of the week and are held from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. Make sure to either have the required texts yourself or purchase them separately from the ITEC store - required texts are not a part of the $180.00 course fee.
This course covers oil burner components. Proper installation of oil burners will be reviewed. Students learn how to properly do vacuum testing and learn the correct method of measuring oil and pump pressures and how to check for defects. Students learn how to clean or replace a defective nozzle and how to check for water or sediment. Also, proper operation and maintenance of oil burner motors and annual tune up procedures are covered. April 26-30, 2010
