ITEC is Approved by the Connecticut Commissioner of Higher Education as a Private, Non-Profit, Vocational-Technical School.

The Certified Employee Training Program (CETP) was developed by the Propane Education & Research Council to provide professional technical training to the propane industry.  The CETP program’s goals are: Encourage professionalism and integrity in the propane industry,  Raise the level of technical competency,  Establish job performance norms and create incentive for employees to improve themselves. The CETP program includes training materials written by industry experts and combines hands-on activities with written evaluations.  Upon successful completion of each section the student will receive NPGA Certification.

ICPA's offering of CETP propane training has been underwritten in part by a grant from the Propane Education and Research Foundation
