Application for the Eugene M. Mangini ITEC Scholarship

The Eugene M. Mangini HVAC Scholarship is the creation of the Independent Connecticut Petroleum Association Education Foundation, a non-profit 501 [c] [3] educational vocational technical school certified by the State of Connecticut's Board of Higher Education.
  • Independent Connecticut Petroleum Association Education Foundation, Inc. admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the Foundation.  The Foundation shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, and other school-administered programs.

Eligibility for the scholarship is based on only those who are about to graduate from high school or those who have graduated from high school within the previous 90 days. Scholarship applications are reviewed by the ITEC School Advisory Board [SAB].

  • Scholarship applications, whether this online version or the brochure version, must be completed in full and then the applicant must attach his or her high school transcript so that the SAB may review the applicant's academic performance as well as the information required in the application.

The ITEC SAB will make determinations of eligibility and criteria each quarter and decide how many, if any, scholarships will be awarded during that quarter.  Successful applicants will be notified by email and regular mail if they have been selected for the scholarship.

If the student applicant declines the scholarship the offer of the scholarship is revoked.  The Eugene M. Mangini HVAC Scholarship is for 50% of the cost of tuition and books to attend the ITEC B-license program on a full-time basis.  Deadline for submission for 2007 scholarship applications is June 1, 2007

ITEC Is Certified as a private, non-profit occupational vocational-technical school by the Board of Governors of the Connecticut Department of Higher Education
