ITEC has partnered with the state's electric utilities, IU and CL&P, to provide a $500 subsidy for those who successfully complete BPI training and receive their BPI certification. The state's electric utilities are under a DPUC mandate to perform energy audits for consumers - and the utilities need trained, BPI/HES certified technicians to perform the audits. As there are not enough techs to do the work - this is the perfect opportunity for every company with an HVAC department to broaden their tech's training, get certified and become a part of the servicing of the demand for home energy audits.
